Types of Benefits
- Home-based benefits
- Home visit care: support beneficiaries’ daily activities and household chores, by visiting home
- Home visit bathing: help beneficiaries to bath using equipment
- Home visit nursing: A nurse or an assistant nurse visit home and provide care and consultation with the doctor’s instruction
- Day and night care: provide institutional care service by the hour in a day
- Short-term respite care: provide LTCI facility care services up to 9 days a month
- Others(Equipment service)
- Institution-based benefits
- LTCI Facilities : provide beneficiaries who have stayed in LTCI facilities for a long time with education or training for supporting their daily activities
- Community-based LTCI home : provide home-like atmosphere
- Special benefit in cash
- When beneficiaries need to get care from his or her family members with several reasons, NHIS provides family members with cash in return for the service
